We had a pretty good turnout with Bob Hanak, Dan Crowe, Jim Weible and Jim's son's father in law (I'm sorry I forgot his first name), Walt Glover, Bill DeArmond, Bill's son Dan and is son Owen, and Bill's son David and his son Josh.   The fishing was o.k. but I think we were just a bit done in with a mild cold front that came through about 0600.   I know because I was on the water.  I got up at 0300 wanting to be on top of the submerged creek at 0515, and I was.  Bob Hanak caught the big fish of the trip fishing in a two man boat with Dan Becker.  It was a largemouth bass 3 pounds 3 ounces.  Jim and his guest caught several and they were just ahead of me at the cleaning station on the dock.  I quit at 10:30 with about two dozen nice crappie.  Son David and Josh caught several, and cleaned them out.  Son Dan and Owen just had two bass on their stringer, and (of course) had me clean them.  Lucky we fished early as it got really windy about 1:30 or 2.  We had a great lunch on Tom's front porch with grilled burgers and lots of sides.

THANK YOU
Tom and Dan Becker for hosting us.

On May 23rd the Chapter held a fundraiser at the Dierbergs Store in Wildwood. Thanks go out to all the customers who donated and to the store management who supported our efforts. We also thank the volunteers who gave up part of their Holiday weekend.
